The St Clair and Erskine Park Women’s Fellowship along with the Junior Jiver’s playgroup are collecting items for homeless women and men in the local area. The idea to collect these specific items came from the desire to share the love of Jesus in a practical way through words and actions. We believe we have been blessed by God who has met us in our need and we want to help those who are going through a hard time. The Junior Jiver mums are collecting items to be placed in a backpack for men. The ladies group is collecting the below items for women. If you would like to contribute to this ministry, please contact the church by phone or email or come along any Sunday at 9.30 and join us in fellowship.
On the 25th November we will be hosting an event where we will hear about homelessness and the under privileged and put together the handbags and backpacks we have been stocking all year. This will be our Ladies Christmas event. You may think a welfare focus is strange at Christmas, but our understanding is that Christmas is all about a gift given by God to people who were in need.
